MESSAGE BOARD

Blast from the past - October 11, 2006
Hello Mikie! How the hell are ya? I was recently in a place that somehow reminded me of you and a few others that I love. I just wanted to let you know that your old arranged prom date still thinks of ya from time-to-time. Jennifer Deyton (I really hope you didn't pause tooooo long. If you're still stumped, think "Turkey Legs" - GA Renn Fest) deytonj@hss.edu

Hi Mike, I met you in Whitefish, Mt. a few years ago. After doing a little touring myself, I decided write a book collecting stories from folks who love to tour. I thought of you. The purpose of the book is to compile stories of our wonderful adventures for that person that maybe starting and wondering what a tour is about. I would love if you can share some personal stories from the road. You sent me a letter last year and that alone inspired me to pack up and head across the states. My email is carrielynnoreilly@yahoo.com, I met you at coffee traders when I was buying a kite for a friend. Happy travels

Phil - August 8, 2006

Kate and Cecil - August 4, 2006
Congrats Mike! I'm glad to hear you're home safe and sound. I look forward to following your adventures on the website but especially look forward to giving you a big "bear hug". See you soon.

At it again...way to go! You should boat on over to Halibut Cove off Homer if you get a chance. Fantastic area of artists and good folk. Enjoy the rest of your trip and safe journey home.

philip - July 27, 2006
this is the third time i've tried to post...so i'll give you the run down: in two hours I become a doctor. in two days i move to huntsville. in two years, we're starting a school. i can't wait to hear about it all...

Courtney - July 26, 2006
YEAH!! So good to hear your voice... that is to imagine you telling us these stories instead of typing them to us. A real treat for us "desk jockeys" to "escape" with you during the work day. Safe travels and we look forward to your return to Seattle. Big grins and safe ped'lin.

Erin - July 25, 2006
A curious bear? Never! Enjoy these last few days on the road and the cozy cabin near Homer. Safe travels back to Anchorage & then Seattle where you will most definitely be greeted with lots of love & hugs =) Thanks for sharing your stories with all of us.

mom - July 25, 2006

So, I had to look up a map of Alaska since I'm geographically challenged (which should make for an interesting round the world trip...) -- but man that would be such a cool place to see!!! I hope you are having fun and seeing amazing sights on your trip. Cheers and see you back in Seattle!

crespin - July 23, 2006

Mike called today and asked me to post since he's about 8 days from a computer. He's roughly 150 miles north of Fairbanks, right where the Yukon River crosses the Dalton Highway. The road has been good to him and he's just starting to get some big hills, which he loves. The scenery is beautiful and the people have been welcoming & friendly, as usual. No word on the friendliness of the mosquitoes, though. He’s having the time of his life...thanks for all the support!

porter - July 14, 2006
I can't believe Mr. Bolton had time to get the site up and running seeing as how he's right smack dab in the middle of his summer rock 'n roll tour...he'll be playing at the River Rock Casino Resort in BC tonight if anyone can make it. oh yeah and way to go on the bike ride thing, mike.
